Today's first boat ride - a bit wet and cold

On today's first boat ride into the wind and rough sea, I shot about half-dozen iPhone frames then discovered my phone was completely full. We were bouncing around pretty good after that with a lot of very cold water splashing over us and I did not bother clearing space, so I in no way did justice to the scene with my iPhone. I hope I did with my "real cameras," but I was futilely trying to keep them dry, so I'm not sure. We would probably have turned back much sooner than we did or gone east toward Narwhal Island, known to be calmer, but a bit ahead of us the Ipalook boats kept reporting a blow they were following so we followed too. Ultimately Brian decided it was getting too risky, especially with five people in his boat, so we turned back to Cross Island. The Ipalook boats soon did the same.
