A dog in a pickup truck with a mountain ahead and hamburgers to the side
Here's a dog in a pickup truck with a mountain ahead. As for me, I am in our red Ford Escape, headed for Carl's Jr. to get a hamburger, a glass of water and no fries. I ate a big breakfast today, a decent lunch and just can't overdo as badly as I want to, but I was really hungry for that hamburger. I should be in the left turn lane with the red arrow ahead of me, but if I had switched into that lane I could not have photographed the dog with the mountain behind it.
It was okay. I only had to drive another half block, turn left into the Target parking lot, turn left again, drive through the parking lot and then cross the Palmer - Wasilla Highway and then, just like that, I was in line at Carl's Jr.
That was when I noticed a chicken salad and decided I could get that instead. So I got the chicken salad with no fries and water. There was a little bit of chicken in it and whole lot of lettuce with a touch of tomato and onion.
It was pretty good, but the trouble was when I drove away after eating the salad, I really wanted a hamburger.
Ever since we went to Hawaii, I have been eating coconut M&M's, which I didn't even know existed until we found them in Hawaii. After we returned, I googled and discovered they sell them at Walgren's here in Wasilla. I allot myself four a night. Each time I eat one, it's kind of like I go back to Hawaii for just a little bit. Tonight, I ate my four and then ate four more. They tasted so good I allotted myself another four and then figured, "what the heck, I might as well eat four more" and so I did.
That's what happens when you go to Carl's to get a hamburger and get a salad instead.
And this is all I have time to post tonight.
Deadlines.
