Strange to lie in hospital bed and watch health care debate

Been a tough day so far today...

Sure wish I knew some words to take some of the tough off/out of the day.
Hoping the hours pass along quickly .
There are some things where we just run out of attitude before we run out of the thing we have to get through- hoping it works out even, steven for you.
Take care neighbor.

Sorry to hear it's been a tough day - but watching Mitch McConnell on TV won't help you feel any better. Plus, if he makes you enraged enough to throw things at the TV, you might rip a stitch - so be careful!!!

And be well.

Aw, Bill -- wish I could think of something to help make you "all better!" Prayers flying upwards and and good wishes flying to Alaska..... Find a good comedy to watch, at least something to make you smile -- the Repubs are not so good as comedians, they really don't make any sense. Laying in the hospital trying to make sense out of nonsense is totally nonsensical.....

I'm so sorry to hear today's been such a bad day for you, Bill. Hang in there. Here's hoping tomorrow is much better for you and a real turning-point in your healing.

Bill, please try not to watch crap on TV. I hope you don't have that thing on all day and night. The magnetic fields alone are enough to stress your body out, not to mention the content. Soothing music, even better brainwave entrainment music that is known to have a tremendous effect to relax and harmonize your body could be a big help. There are also all kinds of apps for the iPhone to relax and distress that if practiced several times a day can be beneficial. There are some that have soothing nature sounds too. Anything that will help relax your body internally as much as it is possible.
I wish for tomorrow to be a much much better day for you my friend.

Take it easy. Do not watch news channels while you are in the hospital. It is not good for you. But, the health care "debate" you are seeing at this point is among conservatives trying to out-horrify one another. The ACA is a reality. It's not perfect but it's a first step in the right direction. So don't worry; just avoid the news on television. Does the hospital have a station with just music and beautiful scenery? Our hospital does and it really helped me during my 23-hour stay for knee replacement a couple of years ago.

Have Mel and Charlie bring you up a radio for listening to NPR or what ever you like? Jim could buzz you out one too, let us know?

Hang in there Bill. 3rd day is the worst. Sleep when you can and keep happy thoughts. You know we are all pulling for you. Glad it's summer and Margie doesn't have to haul in wood or drive on icy, dark roads! At least you aren't having to put up with 3 digit temps and forest fires.

Just showed film of a bear that got into a car and the door shut. (In Boulder) You should see the inside of that SUV! Shredded from front to back Animal control came and opened the door and he took off!!! Bet he won't bother them again. It's so dry and no food in the mountains. They are coming to town for food and running from all the fires. They know where the good garbage can are!

Take good care of yourself! Be nice to the nurses....your life is in their hands! :-) They know what is in your food! :-) Yes, I'm a nurse! Ve have ways to make you talk!! :-)
