Jim walks the hall with me
As I have noted, I am under doctor's orders to walk. Walking is the thing that will best help my intestines return to their normal function. I take one or two walks outside a day, now, and several small walks in the house.
I do laps in which I walk down the hall, turn around, walk back up the hall, walk into the front room, then pass through the living room, and then I go through the kitchen back into the hall.
As I walk the hall, I hear the soft click of claws tapping against the bamboo floor. It is Jim. He walks with me. When I reach the end of the hall and turn around he turns around.
I can do 10 laps, or 15, sometimes even 20. And there is Jim, with me through every lap. Sometimes he diverts a little to the side, this way or that, sometimes he is coming straight at me, sometimes he is behind me, sometimes he is in front of. but he sticks with me.
My good buddy, Jim.

Thank You Jim for being with Uncle. You sure deserve a rat now :)
I have one of those. Sebastian B. Catz thinks he's a therapy cat. If I get upset with someone on the phone he comes running in, jumps onto my lap and starts to purr, lick my hand and kneed my leg to "calm me down." If I have a hard time sleeping he tries to alleviate that problem, too. He's also a black cat (hence the B. in his name) and a rescue when he was about three months old and thrown out of a car in my neighborhood six years ago.
Glad Jim is walking with you. It's nice to have companionship. Jim is a faithful buddy. Hope the walks are achieving the goal to healing! Take care Bill. We are all pulling for you!
I think Jim is the best remedy for you Bill. My Sunny would do the same, Ginger is more subtle,. Still sending healing wishes.
Cats are awesome. We have several, but the biggest is Picasso, a 25 pound feral cat. He hates other cats (after being in a cat rescue for two years), refuses to ever go outside again, and feels it is his right to have a nap with me every day. He hugs my head while I sleep and tries to hold me down if I want to get up.
I'm sure Jim will take good care of you and make sure you follow doctor's walking orders. Be sure to let us know when you get real food!
I read the title before I 've seen the photo...hihiiii...I am glad ...JIM is a cat and not JIM POWERS...hiiihiii...
( to be perceived as a joke)!
