Given what just happened in America, I take a short break from my blogging break to blog a small round of applause...

On Sunday night, I said I was going to take a two to three day break from blogging - but, of course, I must post the above picture, which I just shot. It is Margie, clapping in front of the TV to the announcement that the full-blooded AMERICAN, President Barack Hussein Obama, had just won his second term as POTUS.
I still need to take a full two to three days break from blogging, but now I have only taken one. This means I might not blog again until Thursday night, instead of Wednesday night.

Beyond happy here. For the first time in months I don't have knots in my stomach, the immediate danger is past & we can all celebrate this fantastic win.

In millions of homes around this great country, the applause came and came and came. The joy covered faces. We will all go FORWARD together! Bill, thank you so much for giving so many of us so many smiles and sharing your life perspective with us in photos and wonderful cheerful homespun commentary.
Let's draft Don Young to be the GOP/Tea Party presidential nominee in '16. Then we won't have to sweat as much as this year.

I was glad too, and when I saw the win, I thought of your house celebrating too. But I am saddened by the hateful comments that have blasted across our internet after his win. What a divided and angry people we can be. I pray for this rift to heal.
