Young Writer study; the truck that feeds America; poodle carries a red light; birthday boy with no cake or ice cream
The three boys spent the last three days with us, but I didn't take many pictures because I had set my camera up to copy slides and negatives. Late this afternoon, I drove the boys and Margie to Anchorage, where Margie will babysit until Thursday.
We reached Metro Cafe minutes before closing time of 5:00 PM, barely in time for me to do a "Young Writer Study."
Young Writer Study #6762: Whose Americano is Shoshana preparing here? Mine or Margie's? I don't know!
Then we drove on into town, sipping our Americanos along the way. The boys were all buckled snug in their car seats. The road was a bit slick, but not terrible. We need to get new tires, because the roads will get terrible. Maybe tomorrow.
Wild Jobe, his rambunctious grandma, the mischeivous cat and his two hell-raising brothers. Good thing I was there to keep everything under control.
Jacob, Muzzy and I headed into the dog park to meet a birthday boy at the bridge. As we walked, we saw this poodle coming our way. It carried a red light. Muzzy was pretty interested, but he has been neutered.
This is the birthday boy - Rex. But he and fiance Cortney had plans to go out for dinner, so we are going to wait for Sunday evening and have cake and ice cream with them then.
Lavina made burritos. The bread wasn't quite so good as what she usually serves, yet, the burritos turned out pretty good, just the same.
This is actually from last week. I sent it to Niece Suji of Bangalore in London. I figure the rest of you might as well see it too.
