Jobe steals my camera - Kalib tattles - Jobe's first pic - he proves Kalib was complicit
Late this afternoon, Kalib ran into the living room. "Grampa!" he shouted. "Jobe's got your camera!" I ran into the bedroom. Sure enough, I found Jobe sitting on the floor with my camera, looking mischievous. He held my lens cap in one hand and there were finger prints on my lens.
Then tonight, I was going through the day's take and I came upon this image. "What the...?" I said to myself. "I don't remember taking this picture...? And why would I frame it like this - with the camera strap in the picture? Although it is pretty damn good..."
Then it came to me - I didn't take the picture, Jobe did.
Jobe shot several other pictures, all out of focus and all of Kalib, looking happy and mischievous. There was this one, which appeared to be a self-portrait of Jobe that included Kalib - but it could have just as easily been a self-portrait of Kalib that included Jobe.
At any rate, it was clear that while Jobe may have been the one who stole my camera, Kalib was complicit in the mischief that followed.
Anyway, it looks like a bit of grandpa made it into Jobe and likely Kalib, too.
I don't encourage thievery among my grandchildren, but, truth is, I'm pretty proud.

love it !!!
Good shots for such a little boy.
A budding professional photographer!
One Christmas morning, I grabbed the camera to take pictures of the kids opening their gifts.....film all used up! Luckily, I had another roll. When I took the film in to be developed, discovered 12 pictures of our oldest son's birthday present....his new bike. Same picture taken over and over. There was no denying who had taken the pictures. Guess he wanted a picture for all his friends. He's lucky I had an extra roll. At least you don't have to worry with Digital cameras and phones. It used to cost as much as your vacation just getting the film developed!
Hope your little guys follow in the grandpa's footsteps and learn the steps from the Pro! What a legacy!
I think I better get Jobe a camera for Christmas...
How incomplete this blog would have been if not for the three wondeful grandsons!!!! Jobe Lovee all over.. :))
