This is the reason I went to Anchorage

This is why I drove to Anchorage in the first place - not so much to pick up these boys, but their grandmother. They then wanted to come home with us and so they did. I had rolled the window down in Eagle River so they could instruct me on how to fill the car up with gas. Then I closed the gas cap, rolled up the window and off we went. "Roll down the window! Roll down the window!" Kalib started to shout as we rolled onto Eagle River's main road. "My ear got in the window!" He mean the ear of his hat. I rolled the window down. He pulled it out. "My ear is broken!" he complained. A few stitches had come out.

Jobe didn't do such a good Job of taking Lynxton home

Well, Lynx went home alright, but Jobe didn't. Jobe insisted upon staying with his grandma and grandpa tonight. And that is just what he is doing.

Jobe showed up a little bit ago to pick up his little brother

Jobe showed up a little bit ago to pick up his little brother and take him home. Kalib was going to come, but he wasn't feeling so good. Jobe brought his dad along to do the driving. They were going to take Margie back with them, but she wants to spend one more night at home. I made chocolate ice cream cones for everybody.

We didn't go for the reindeer, we went for the pumpkins

A lot of things happened at the reindeer farm. The boys rode in wagons, they ran across rolled hay bales, they fell down between those bales. They shot potatoes across the farm with a gigantic slingshot. They drink hot chocolate and petted two dogs. I snapped it all, I intended to blog the whole story. But given all that requires right now I'm going to jump straight ahead to the main reason for going there. Pumpkins. We went there to get pumpkins. Jobe managed to carry this one for maybe 2 feet before he dropped it.
